How to make a Hand Dynamometer ?

Designing a hand dynamometer using a flex sensor to interface with any microprocessor board to measure the grip strength and display value in RAW value.

The flex sensor is by Spectra Symbol and connect a 56K resistor to provide a voltage divider network. The voltage difference is fed into the ADC1 of the PICAXE 28x2 chip. The resultant voltage is then display as a RAW value on the LCD display.

Please goto my instructable.com page for further detail on how to mount the flex sensor on a hand grip execiser.

You can interface it with Aurdino microprocessor, PICAXE, BasicStamp or any other microprocessor chip.
